Handbuilding Class (2 hours)

Working with clay is my passion. Besides the potters wheel there are loads of different techniques possible to relax while engaging in your creative process.

This class is focused on any technique other than wheel throwing, including slab building, coiling, pinching, use of moulds etc.

Hand building courses can be organised, but consider that for bigger projects  it is highly recommended to register for a number of classes as the hand building techniques are generally generating slower end results than wheel throwing.

The course is adequate for beginners as well for advanced students. The approach is individual and allows for diversification for different skill levels.

Your piece(s) will be bisque fired and could be decorated/glazed by opting for a glaze decoration class.

Please dress in comfortable clothes that can get dirty and bring along an old towel and an apron. In case, you can buy a hand embroidered apron in the shop for a reasonable price.

Included in the course are all materials and bisque firing of your piece(s).
